Graphs of the Game 6: Where we all stand

Stay connected for news and updates

Brian's edit: An excellent look at where every team in the Pac-10 sits as of now. Always interesting to see in visual form.

About a week ago I posted a graph showing historically (2004-2010) teams are to get into the NCAA tourney or NIT based on KenPom and RPI rankings here.  After listening to this week's 18 and life I was curious how WSU sits in relation to other Pac-10 Teams and other D-1 teams.  Here is that graph with the most recent data (Post-AZ game):

Remember:

NCAA: In this region a team is >90% likely to qualify for the NCAA tournament
The Bubble: In this region a team is about 50% likely to qualify for NCAA tourney, 50% likely to qualify for NIT
NIT: In this region a team is mostly likely to qualify for NIT
Outer Darkness: Unless you have a automatic berth to NCAA or NIT, you unlikely to get in.
