Selfishly, I don't want Hironaka to go. Obviously an opportunity to be the first D1 Asian-American head coach would potentially be hard to pass up.
I know some think he is the x's and o's brain behind Bone. The question is, what would the impact actually be? Minimal? Huge?
How does he compare to the others mentioned in the article?
Just from my perspective, it would be a big hit to the coaching staff, but no one is irreplaceable, but it might be tough to find the right kind of replacement. Would we promote someone already on the staff, or would he go outside?
