Cody Bartlett Joins Cougar Draft Class - WSUCougars.com
Bartlett is the fifth and final WSU baseball player to be drafted in 2011. Chad Arnold did not hear his name called; "major bummer" probably doesn't even begin to describe how he's feeling about his last 12 months. I'm sure someone will give him a shot, but my heart goes out to the guy.

It really is too bad about Chad.
Comes back to school, hurts his elbow and sits out the first month of the season. Once he finally came back he was just never the same as he was last year. Got hit around, a lot more wild, a lot less swinging strikes and a very bad defense behind him. Just a really unlucky way to have your year go.

agree about Arnold. tough year.
He had a frustrating year….too many walks, hit batters, too many 3-1 counts, and not enough pitchersr’s strikes. He also had very little run support (all the pitchers go crappy run support) and a terrible defense, worst in the conference. I ffelt for all the pitchers on our team this year. It was painful to watch us blow opportunities and leave runners on base. Wise was another pitcher whose solid year was wasted.
