Cougar football needs to maintain a recruiting presence in Washington to be successful. Is Cougar football in a position to attract top in-state talent? Not yet. Don't expect the top in-state talent this year such as Zach Banner, or Keivarae Russell to seriously consider the Cougs.
Wulff and his staff have been successful at finding talent from throughout the country, but have lacked and landing in-state recruits. Here the numbers of in-state recruits over the last two years.
