Looking at this picture...
I feel like the coliseum would look MUCH better if the chairs were actually crimson.. now it’s a faded red-orange?
Made weirder by the fact that the lower bowl is faded red and the upper bowl is faded orange.
Two colors, neither of which are a school color.

It looks weird, but the place was built in '73
Just poor all-around decor color judgment at the time. The seat colors aren’t noticeable when the place is full, so I don’t blame them putting new seats near the bottom of the renovations list. I really think the new floor design, paint, and sideline video board they installed a couple years ago were great additions though (for relatively low cost).
That being said… man, those seats sure are ugly.
