HOT COUGAR ACTION: Wednesday Morning Links

It's not very often I hear something in an interview which forces me to stop, rewind and listen again. Logwone Mitz forced me to do just that. Mitz was a guest on the WSUCougars.com Podcast Tuesday and was asked about not being satisfied despite a dominant performance. That's when he dropped this gem, "I personally wanted to put up 85 or 90 points, because it was realistic."

When Logwone Mitz plays basketball with little kids, he rejects their layups, gives them a Dikembe finger wag and sends them back to their mothers crying.

Pac-12 coaches not surprised by expansion talk - Spokesman.com - Sept. 6, 2011

Pac-12 power rankings: Week 2 - Pac-12 Blog - ESPN

10. Washington State: The Cougars are out of the basement for the first time in the history of the power rankings, as far as I can recall. Too bad about quarterback Jeff Tuel's clavicle. Can the Cougs maintain enough for the next five to eight weeks he's going to be out? Can they get to 2-0 against UNLV?
