HOT COUGAR ACTION: A Tuesday Variety Pack
Links have been far and few between as of late, but that isn't the case today. Between mid year transfers, a defensive coordinator and basketball power rankings there is plenty to keep you busy this morning. I won't waste any time and instead jump straight to the links starting with the news of a few players enrolling in spring semester.

9. Washington State: This is where things start to get really ugly. How ugly? Consider this: I have Wazzu ranked No. 9 today despite its loss to Utah. Oh, did you miss that? Because it happened: Washington State lost to Utah. That's a little bit like losing to Tennessee Martin or Houston Baptist, two teams currently ranked higher than the Utes in Ken Pomeroy's adjusted efficiency rankings. The Cougars followed that loss with a 71-60 defeat at Colorado, in which their offense -- the strength of this team to date -- scored just 60 points in 63 possessions. Ick.

Interesting that we might be going after another QB.
Here’s his scout bio. I’m not going to doubt Mike Leach on any QB he goes after, just wonder what they think of Apodoca and Clements?
Given all the interest from 3/4* WRs I really hope we see some of it carry over to some top QBs next year. Specifically one playing at Skyline High School.
QB -
You need at least 4 to 5 QB just to practice…. how many are on the roster today ?

News has been out for a while that he wasn't going to be enrolled in January
He’s taking classes to try to become eligible and to “get up [to Pullman] this summer.” http://washingtonstate.scout.com/2/1143674.html (pay link).
He’s been offered again by the new staff, and they want him. Said that he has received from attention from LSU and other places but he remains interested in being a Coug. Here’s hoping he can do what it takes to be eligible this fall.
Yes, you should follow another Coug-related account on Twitter: @425CougFan
From a video gamers vocab,
these (Bowlin, Dotson, Caldwel and Dockery) guys posted some beast gameplay on their highlight videos…
Is is September yet?
yes
It is called a touchback. We fans may not remember them, but they are beastly when you have them and ghastly when you don’t.

when are we going to be able to delete our own comments?
The above comment wasn’t meant to be outside of the reply, but it happened and when I went to change that, it wouldn’t let me delete it to put it in the right place… oh, and I think you fell for the sarcasm…
