Conner Johnson - Preferred walk-on
Per Cougfan, University High quarterback Conner Johnson has agreed to a spot as a preferred walk on at WSU. The link is to his senior year highlight video. It seems odd to me that despite some impressive stats the kid doesn't have a single scholarship offer (not even from eastern), but I guess that's what being completely off the map during you're junior year can do. It's funny that we've been talking about sleepers and that sort of thing the last
few days, and then this happens. I’m honestly kind of shocked this kid doesn’t have any offers. Schools in the WAC and Big Sky must be feeling extra good about their qb situations right now.

Conner is a tall (6’ 4 or 5") athletic kid with real head on his shoulders. He’s also humble and has a solid family and balance to life. Like kelly20210 I am also shocked he wasn’t offered?!?! Love the Spokane connection too! Keep it going Coach!
