Steve Gleason was taken by ambulance from the Superdome to the hospital. He is responsive and alert

Gleason is at Ochsner Hospital right now with his family. His wife Michelle said he is responsive and believes he will be ok

I've got nothing, but it worries me. I know he's been at the Superdome the past two days for Gleason Gras, a large fundraiser for ALS that's basically a huge outdoor party, and he seemed fine yesterday. He was taking photos, showing off a mustache and sporting a wicked mohawk.

No idea what cause him to be taken to the hospital by ambulance, but ... it's scary. I don't think anyone has a clue how long Steve has to live, but he continues to deteriorate significantly. Pray for him if you believe in it, or send thoughts that way.

Edit: Yep, very scary.

Gleason became unresponsive in the first quarter at tonight's game & was transported to Ochsner Hospital. He's reportedly doing well in ER.
