Bone touched on a number of topics including, DaVonte Lacy's health, Brock Motum's play and the Cougars first matchup against Oregon State. Daugherty covered the upcoming games against the Oregon schools and highlighted the recent play of Jazmine Perkins and April Cook.

Apparently, it's not a good idea to test Mike Leach, the new WSU football coach. Late Tuesday morning, the Cougars announced that sophomore linebacker C.J. Mizell "will not be retained" on the WSU squad after an eventful couple of seasons.
