Tonight I went to the Mariners game with a buddy of mine and after watching Chone Figgins play a horrible LF, we started talking about the Mariners we hated the most all-time. It moved to Seahawks, Sonics (RIP), and Huskies/Cougars (he's a Husky). We came up with some pretty good names, and while Figgins was at the top, it's hard to put him in proper historical perspective because he's sucking right now as opposed to 5, 10, or even 20 years ago.

In the end, I couldn't settle on one player, so I went with a Top 5. My Top 5 Most Hated Seattle Sports Related Players are:

- Chone Figgins

- Jerome James

- Shaun Alexander

- Carlos Silva

- Aaron Curry

I think Curry might be my #1 (oh my god I hate you Aaron Curry), but Figgins and Jerome James are really close. I didn't choose any Cougs (hey there, Drew Dunning!) but that's just because I hated these guys more. I seriously hate Drew Dunning.

I thought about adding a Husky to the list (Jake Locker, Venoy Overton) but I think hating a player on your rival's team isn't fair; you're supposed to hate them. So that made me think of another Top 5: players you like on teams you hate. That Top 5 consists of:

- Brandon Roy

- Marques Tuiasosopo

- Larry Fitzgerald

- Mike Trout

- Patrick Willis

I despise the 49ers but Patrick Willis is so good that it's tough to hate him. Mike Trout is really fun to watch, especially since he's only 20. I hate the damn Angels, though. Chris Polk was also considered, but that's more of a respect thing than a like thing.
