HOT COUGAR ACTION: Jeshua Anderson Falls Short Of Olympic Bid

Stay connected for news and updates

It was a disappointing day for Jeshua Anderson at the U.S. Track & Field Olympic Trials Friday as Anderson failed to qualify for the 400m hurdle final, thus ending his bid for the 2012 Olympics.

Anderson won the 2011 U.S. Championship, but suffered a hamstring injury this spring which derailed his bid for the Olympics. Fortunately for Anderson, he will be in his prime when the 2016 Olympics roll around, but first he needs to get healthy.

Although Anderson failed to qualify, WSU will still be represented in London by Bernard Lagat and Aron Baynes.
