I know some of the ideas here have been out for a while, but WSU released a master plan update as of May. Obviously, this is all a pipe dream, but there are some pretty cool ideas here. The biggest, probably the most controversial, is turning part of Stadium way into a pedestrian mall. Some other interesting parts relate to sports. The plan calls for the expansion of Beasley, the construction of a new soccer stadium (built over a parking structure) on the site of the lower soccer field, A new baseball stadium, the conversion of Bailey-Brayton into a softball stadium, A new indoor tennis center, and a new IM field. Just thought this was interesting and thought I should pass it along. Do you like the plan? What else should they add?
