Tis The Season For A Football Poem

Stay connected for news and updates

‎'Twas the night before Cougsmas, and all through Pullman, every cougar is praying to start with a win.

It's been a long 9 long years for the Coug faithful, watching teams that were barely capable.

Ahoy! A pirate has arrived! To right the ship, a task to revive.

Sound the sirens, the Air Raid is coming! With touchdowns aplenty to keep the cannon a humming. Excitement boiling, bubbling. The Tuels are in place to spend the Halliday bowling.

Now here we are, after months of patience, hoping tomorrows win will bring Cougar nation a feeling of joyance.

A few things left to do for ol Wazzu, wave the flag, and watch Marquess Wilson zig-zag, and show the folks from BYU who the true Cougs are, and that is from the Wazzu. Go Cougs!
