"Ol' Wazzu" song from 1981 WSU promo video

A while back WSU Libraries posted a 1981 promo video on YouTube, called "Ol' Wazzu" - linky - narrated by Keith Jackson. The intro to the video featured a country/folksy song of the same name. I don't know about you, but Tyrant and E-Drid are getting a little played out on my iPod, so I wanted to see if I could get a digital version of this song. First I tried the artist, Bruce Innes. He referred me to Dave Vik, whose son Scott is the Director of Sports Video at WSU. I contacted him, and he was able to dig up a recording and pass it along. The audio quality isn't spectacular since it was taken from an old 45 record, but I thought some Cougs out there might appreciate the "vintage" aspect of the song.
