I was wondering if anyone out there had pondered the QB controversy as it relates to Tuel's future? He was never a for sure going to be drafted guy, but I remember quite a bit of talk about him being on the board. He has the size, the arm strength, fairly mobile, accurate etc... I agree that we should do what is best for cougar football, but when the QB's that you have are fairly equal... does the kid's future enter into the equation for most of you? So far this year, big plays have come from Conner, but Tuel's completion percentage has been great. I really don't know who is the best guy for the job. I hear the argument that if we give Conner reps he will be better next year and I totally agree with that. We may be better but does that hurt another kid who had a shot, not a great one probably, but a shot. If it is the injury keeping Jeff out, that makes the decision easy. Anyone else have a hard time with this one? I want both guys to succeed so much. Even if Conner starts, I hope Jeff can get his shot (Matt Kassel style). Go Cougs!
