So some of you may remember that I charted the progress under Wulff a year ago here. Well, I am doing a quick update on how things look from the perspective of S&P+. Honestly it is not as bad as I thought. We are in about the same place as we ended last year, and after four games in under a new coach, I can live with that. What scares me is that one team that is rocketing off into space in the above chart. That is Oregon. The upcoming game will be the largest S&P different between the Cougs and their opponent since we played Oregon in 2009. Do don't be surprised is Oregon makes the Cougs look like the 2009 team tomorrow. Its not that the Cougs are that bad...Oregon just might be that good. And the defense:
Interesting note: The defense is actually better than last year.
