HOT COUGAR ACTION: Sunday Morning Victory Links

As you can see in the photo above, Washington State came within an inch or two of losing Saturday, but they didn't. No matter how close it was, a win is a win at the end of the day and thankfully I don't have to link to 30 loss recaps again.

There is a lot to get to today, starting with official stats and postgame notes from the WSU. As you can read in the notes, Marquess Wilson moved ahead of Hugh Campbell and is now third in WSU history in receiving yards. Now, onto the videos.

We will be back with more throughout the day, including a closer look at the final play of the game.

PULLMAN — Washington State’s first home football game sold out for the first time in more than half a century on Saturday afternoon, and no one seemed to appreciate it more than a young linebacker who grew up 3,000 miles away.

Washington State’s defense may have allowed too many big plays and a few too many yards, but the Cougars kept Eastern Washington from scoring for most of the second half. They sacked EWU’s Kyle Padron four times, hurried him several others and forced him to throw more incompletions than completions.
