Pac-12 Tournament scores: Oregon knocks out Washington in OT, 80-77

Arsalan Kazemi comes up huge in the extra period as the Ducks advance to face Utah in the semifinals.

Dana Altman has built his program on a steady diet of transfers, and it was one of those transplants -- Rice transfer Arsalan Kazemi -- who provided the catalyst for No. 3 seed Oregon to get past No. 6 seed Washington in overtime at the Pac-12 Tournament, 70-67.

Kazemi would score 11 of his 14 points in the extra period. He also collected nine rebounds.

The Huskies, meanwhile, self destructed -- something they've done at various times this season -- by turning the ball over four times in overtime. In fact, a Damyean Dotson steal on an Abdul Gaddy turnover that led to a fast break dunk by Kazemi off a beautiful behind-the-back pass by Jonathan Loyd essentially put the game out of reach for Washington by giving Oregon a seven point lead with less than three minutes to go it OT.

Gaddy, the subject of much ire from Washington fans for four years now, finished with 14 points on 6 of 17 shooting with five rebounds, five assists and six turnovers. C.J. Wilcox had 19 points and Scott Suggs had 18.

Tony Woods was a force in the middle for Oregon, scoring 19 points with eight rebounds, while Dotson had 17 and noted Coug Killer E.J. Singler had 16.

The Ducks advance to the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament where they'll face upstart No. 10 seed Utah on Friday at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN.
