If you haven't been paying attention to the WSU women's basketball team this season, you've missed a very good freshman year from point guard Lia Galdeira. Galdeira is the Cougars' leading scorer, averaging 14.8 points per game. She added to her list of accomplishments on Friday by hitting the game-winning shot against OSU.

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Beavers staged a furious second-half rally, erasing a 16-point deficit to tie the game with 32 seconds remaining, but a WSU jumper with just three ticks on the clock went through and the Oregon State women's basketball team's comeback bid fell just short against the Cougars, as OSU dropped a 51-49 contest on Friday night in Gill Coliseum.
The men's team will play Oregon today and while the Cougars are likely to be without Mike Ladd, the Ducks will be without Dominic Artis. Maybe the Cougars will win and pull out of 12th place of the latest power rankings.
