James Snook-US PRESSWIRE
The defensive back from the Gulf Coast will make his way to the Palouse this fall.
In a continuing trend of getting more help for the Washington State secondary, Mike Leach went to familiar turf to nab a safety. Darius Lemora, a safety from Port Arthur High School in Port Arthur, TX, faxed in his letter of intent to Washington State and will hit Rogers Field this fall.
Both Rivals and Scout list Lemora at 6' feet tall on the nose and as a 2-star recruit. Scout also has him down as the 180th best safety in the 2013 class. Lemora's only BCS offer came from Washington State with other offers from Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese St., North Texas, Texas St. and UTEP in hand.
You can check out Kyle's evaluation of Lemora here and the eval includes a link to Lemora's Hudl page where you can view his highlights as well. Rancourt is a big fan of Lemora's ability to hit but believes his run diagnosing could use some work.
Welcome to the cougar family Darius!
