The Cougs try to snap a million-game losing streak on Sunday.
The Washington State Cougars look for their first win in over a month when they travel to Seattle on Sunday afternoon to face the Washington Huskies at 12:30 p.m. on FSN/ROOT Sports. UW will be looking to get back to .500 in conference play.
Washington has been near the bottom defensively during league play, as they stand at 11th in offensive efficiency. The primary culprit for their ineptitude has been horrendous shooting. The Huskies are shooting a have put up a conference-worst 46.1 effective field goal percentage.
As usual, the Huskies are doing well on the offensive glass. That's good for the Cougars in that just about the only thing they've done well against Pac-12 teams is grab defensive rebounds.
The last time these two played was the beginning of the end of defense this season. UW scored 1.05 points of possession that day, which is actually under the typical 1.1 PPP that WSU has allowed in league play.
