As expected, PG Danny Lawhorn from Hartford, CT and San Jacinto College (Texas) has faxed in his National Letter of Intent to play for Ken Bone and Washington State next season.
"Danny comes from a very successful program and we look forward to him being an integral part of our program next year," Bone said. "I love his quickness and his ball handling. Maybe his best attributes, though, are his unselfishness and passing ability, which made him one of the top assist leaders nationwide the past two seasons."
Lawhorn is 5'10" and has averaged 9.6 points, and 9.0 assists (!!!) over his last two seasons at San Jacinto, giving WSU the true Point Guard they've sorely been missing since Reggie Moore's departure.
Out of high school, Lawhorn had offers from several schools including Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida State, among others.
Also, beware if you are in Lawhorn's phone:

Lawhorn will join a bevy of newcomers for WSU next season including Ikenna Iroegbu, Josh Hawkinson, Que Johnson and Jordan Railey. It would appear WSU is done recruiting for the year, but we thought that before WSU released Tanner Lancona from his NLI last week. There are rumors WSU is still after former Kentucky commit Remi Dibo, but Dibo has not committed anywhere for next year as of yet.
