College football programs do a lot of things in order to try and catch the eyes of recruits, and fans got a little bit of a look at one of WSU's strategies last week.
A number of WSU recruits posted mock Sports Illustrated covers to their Twitter feeds, which presumably came from the school. And some of them seemed impressed by the gesture.

These sorts of things are relatively easy to make (it really doesn't take a photoshop wiz to do this), and I would guess it's relatively standard, but still -- cool nonetheless for recruits. I only wonder how Sports Illustrated feels about the use of their cover ...
