Hey all, long time, no comment. I haven't been commenting a whole lot lately, but I have been noticing that there has been a lot of coverage for Team Gleason and support for ALS research. I feel like I wouldn't be doing my part if i didn't at least bring up an event that the company I work for is sponsoring this weekend in Spokane. Gleasonfest is this Saturday (August 23rd) and features eight Indie bands playing from 2 in the afternoon until 11 at night. All of the proceeds to this event are going to ALS research and support for those who need financial help to get equipment, treatment, or service to help in their fight against ALS. If you want to visit the webpage for the event, you can do so here: Linky. If you visit the page, they have a list of all the musical acts for the concert, as well as a little video from last years Gleasonfest. You can also buy tickets to Gleasonfest, and if you are feeling especially generous, you can see what a larger donation can get you (hint: its a lot of really cool stuff).
Bonus: If you end up going to the concert, you will be able to see everyone at my work complete the Ice Bucket challenge. We're working on a compilation video right now so it should be ready in time. It's been a lot of fun, as everyone is calling out each other and donating as well. In fact, it's my turn to go through with the challenge today so you'll even get to see me in there!
