A Pullman restaurant breaks out the jokes following the Apple Cup
For those that haven't been to Pullman recently, Birch and Barley is a somewhat new restaurant on Bishop. It might look familiar: The restaurant and bar took over the building Pete's used to occupy. I'm sure everyone -- including myself -- has memories of Wiley glasses filled with alcohol on the cheap.
The Birch and Barley also took over the sign Pete's had, facing the bustling boulevard that is Bishop. The photo above is the sign this morning, which kind of captures the mood in Pullman.
Well played, friends.
