Tweet "@Elite11 #PressureChamber Peyton Bender" to vote for him to be in their final competition of the day, a grueling 2min drill. Players can move on from this super regional to the finals in Oregon, and Peyton has a very good shot to do that. Every vote counts!

Good for him. Landed at a better program, anyway.
As a human being, you can't help but get a little choked up watching this. As a father of a boy with cancer who will be getting his own Wish this summer, I was reduced to tears last night. You can read more about this Wish over at Stumptown Footy.
"They said that after their meeting with the athletic director [Bill Moos] at the end of the season, that the program is going to be headed into a different direction," Sean Lancona said. "I'm going to try to stay classy here, but there were a lot of things said that left the impression that the program was headed in a direction that wasn't going to fit Tanner's needs anymore. … It had to do with a coach on a hot seat, a coach that needed to go in a different direction immediately."
Via FoxSports.com. We've already written about this situation plenty, and our take from the moment the school parted ways with Tanner Lancona was that it wasn't mutual. This would seem to be more evidence of that.As unbelievable as it may seem, I am forced to fly on the Husky plane from Pulllman to Seattle. #GoCougs

I imagine at least a few of you are curious how my son is doing. Here's an incredibly overdue update.
I found this article on line by happenstance and thought that I would post it for everybody's enjoyment. This happened after a USC team came to the Palouse led by Rodney Peete got upended by Jim Walden and the Cougars in October of 1986. I know a lot of us vary on CougCenter by age and our time being connected to Wazzu, but it might be interesting if some of our senior members have any recollections of this game.
