Cougar football Saturday has arrived

William Mancebo

Saturday has finally arrived, now all we have to do is wait 14 hours and WSU will play a game.

WSU is set to play it's second home game of the season and the combination of homecoming weekend and a 7:30 p.m. PT start should lead to some interesting things going on in the build up to the game. What's the best recipe for shenanigans? Take a bunch of alumni, put them Pullman and let them tailgate for 12 hours. It should be a great time.

For those of you not currently at a tailgate, or if you are and are still capable or reading, there are a few links to help pass the time. Otherwise, consider this your open thread to discuss the afternoon games before the Cougs kick off tonight.

PULLMAN – If it wasn’t already obvious based on who was playing where during Washington State’s preseason football camp, it’s rather clear now, through three games, that the Cougars won’t rely this season on nearly as many freshmen as they did in 2012.
