AUDIO: CougCenter Podcast, Episode 15

Stuck in your house instead of traveling? Need to kill close to an hour waiting for tonight's game in the Great Alaska Shootout?

Then the latest edition of the CougCenter podcast is for you!

Grady and I talk about the Apple Cup and share our favorite "why I hate the Huskies" stories, then move into hoops, specifically talking about how much better we feel after the Pac-10's abysmal start to the season. (No Craig again this week.)

If you've listened before and not liked it all that much, give this week a try. The conversation is great, and if you've ever been turned off by the sound quality of previous shows -- either the fact that it sounded like a phone call or the random popping noises that seem to be inevitable with TalkShoe.com -- good news! We've dramatically improved it by using Skype, which improves both the quality of voices and the quality of the conversation, since there's virtually none of the dreaded cell phone lag.

To be frank, we really enjoyed making last night's show a lot more than some other recent shows, and we think you'll enjoy the results, too.

Incidentally, the transition to Skype came at the recommendation of Ty Hildenbrandt at The Solid Verbal, to whom I owe a huge debt of gratitude; I always just assumed that we'd never be able to have good sound quality since we're all three in different parts of the country. Maybe I can pay him back by being a guest on his podcast when the Cougars are relevant again in five years!

As usual you can listen to the audio via the player below, or visit our podcast page for myriad subscription options. You can also find us in the iTunes directory under keyword "CougCenter." The advantage of subscribing? Besides having the audio directly delivered to your player of choice, I often upload the audio to the podcast site before posting it here -- this podcast was uploaded early this morning, so many of you might have already listened to it.
