CougCenter fantasy baseball!!!

So, I know it's hard to think about anything else other than who our new coach is going to be, but we had floated the idea earlier this year of having a fantasy baseball league with only CougCenter members.

Well, the league is set up, but the turnaround is tight. I meant to put this post up on Monday, but ... well ... you know what happened on Monday. And to be honest, this really slipped my mind.

So, if you're interested in participating in this league, you need to know/agree to a few things:

  1. It's a 10-team, 5x5 rotisserie style league through ESPN.com. (If you don't know what that means, ask.)
  2. There are seven five spots available on a first come first serve basis -- the first three are taken up by me, Grady and Craig (Dancing Football), and GoCougs and cfred have signed up already.
  3. You must be able to make the online draft TONIGHT, Thursday, April 2, at 8 p.m. PDT. There is nothing worse than having someone in your league complaining about the team the computer autodrafted for them.
  4. You must agree to stick with it for the entire season. This is a daily lineup league. No deadbeats allowed. The only thing less fun than someone complaining about their roster is someone quitting on the season. If you're going to be on vacation at some point, that's fine -- you just need to set your lineups in advance. Just don't quit!
  5. No prizes. Just bragging rights.
  6. You don't have to be experienced in fantasy baseball to play, just willing to do your best and have a good time.

If you can agree to all of this and you're interested, send me an e-mail to my personal address: jeff(dot)nusser(at)gmail(dot)com. I'll then send you an invitation to join the league.
