EDIT, 2:30 p.m.: According to one of my favorite people in the world, WSU basketball SID Jessica Schmick, there will be Game Tracker. I'll throw a link up before the game. No radio, though.
Since I know a lot of us are pining for basketball to get going, we sort of get our wish tonight. The Cougs will take on LCSC at Beasley Coliseum at 6 p.m., and admission is free.
It's actually part of a pretty cool weekend of WSU sports. If you're a student or you're going to be in town early for the game tomorrow, you can watch the soccer team take on UW at 1:30 p.m. (it's senior day and admission is free), catch an early dinner, then go to a swimming meet at the pool at 5 p.m. (free), walk over to the hoops exhibition (also free), and walk back over to Bohler Gym to watch the volleyball team also take on UW at 8 p.m. (general admission tickets $6).
Brian will be at the basketball game tonight and filing a report on what he sees. I'm excited to read his report, because this will be the first indication we get of how Ken Bone plans to use personnel and what style of defense they're going to try and use. I don't yet know if there will be radio or game tracker, but if there is, I'll pass that information along.
Lastly, if you needed even more of a reason to get fired up for hoops, The Spokesman-Review did a really cool college basketball preview section this year -- not just in terms of content, but visually. This, folks, is why newspapers still matter. You can see/read it after the jump. I recommend full screen. It's fantastic.
