UCLA Vs. Washington State: Pac-10 Opener Game Thread

Next Game

Pac-10 opener time! The Washington State Cougars got it done in the non-conference "season," finishing at 10-2 with a dominating win over Gonzaga and a big win in Hawaii over Baylor. Now, we head to the real schedule. Aside from Washington, the Pac-10 is wide-open, and the Cougs have opened some eyes in the last month. The first test starts in Los Angeles and should give us a better idea where the Cougs are at.

UCLA brings big-men, and lots of them, to the table. Tyler Honeycutt is back from injury, Reeves Nelson is a disruptive force and Josh Smith is probably the best true center in the conference. WSU has great guard play, but we're about to find out how they handle a talent crop of post players.

Read Jeff's preview of UCLA for more on the Bruins. Since WSU is on the road, check out this FanPost on road venues. Tip-off is at 8:00 p.m., live on FSN at Pauley Pavilion.

GO COUGS.
