Last night didn't go so well against Arizona's filthy Friday night starter -- in case you missed it, freshman Kurt Heyer pitched 8 2/3 innings and struck out 14(!) to continue his ridiculous dominance this year -- so the Cougs are going to have to make some hay tonight.
Chad Arnold was able to pitch a complete game in the 5-3 loss after giving up four runs in the first two innings, so the bullpen is plenty rested after playing two weekday games. Look for Marbut to match up early and often if necessary.
