WSU Basketball Schedule: Cougs' TV Drought Ends Saturday Against Arizona

As has been the norm over the years -- thanks both to the Pac-10's pitiful television contract and the Cougars' seeming innate ability to be overlooked by the masses -- WSU hasn't exactly been a TV darling this season, despite featuring one of the top players in the country in Klay Thompson. The last two games were available only if you knew where to look on the Internet.

Good news! That's about to end. But you've got one more night to scramble. Here's a look at this weekend's WSU basketball schedule, including how you can watch the Cougs this weekend if you can't make it to Pullman.

Tonight: WSU vs. Arizona State, 7 p.m. The game is not available over the digital airwaves, but it is available via webcast at WSUCougars.com. A one-month subscription costs $9.95, or you can get a year for $79.95. Otherwise, you'll have to catch the game on the radio. Here's a list of stations.

Saturday, 1/22: WSU vs. Arizona, 7:30 p.m. TV! Finally! The game will be available on FSN if you live in the Northwest or Arizona; if you live out of the area, Comcast is showing that the game will indeed be broadcast on FCS Central (Ch. 721). It is not showing on the DirecTV guide as of yet, but I assume it will also be broadcast on that channel on satellite.

EDIT NUSS: So, I goofed up, the final paragraph should have read ...

The great news is that after this weekend, every game but one three -- Feb. 3 at Oregon, Feb. 10 vs. Stanford and Feb. 12 vs. Cal  -- will be on TV. The Cal and Stanford games will be webcast by WSUCougars.com as well, which might make your one-month, $9.95 investment, a bit more palatable.
