Klay Thompson Suspended Indefinitely, Will Miss UCLA Game

As expected, Washington State head coach Ken Bone has suspended Klay Thompson indefinitely. Thompson will miss the UCLA game, and his status will be evaluated further in the coming days. It's unclear whether or not he'll play in the Pac-10 tournament, or beyond, at this time.

The news comes from Vince Grippi on Twitter.

Thompson suspended by WSU for last night's marijuana bust, will miss UCLA game. Status to be evaluated later. More soon.

Thompson was arrested late Thursday night after officers stopped the car he was in for a headlight infraction. After smelling the odor of marijuana, police impounded the car to have it search, finding 1.95 grams of marijuana in the process. Thompson was cited with possession of marijuana under 40 grams, a misdemeanor, and released at the scene.

With Thompson out and Reggie Moore's status unclear after rolling an ankle on Thursday night, the UCLA game becomes a daunting task for the remaining Cougs. The guard spot is severely depleted, with Dre Winston Jr., Faisal Aden and Marcus Capers forced to shoulder the load if Moore can't go.

This should be outstanding.
