Since the second game of the three-game series between WSU and UCLA is being broadcast on cable, I figured there might be a few people watching who would want to talk about it.

WSU ace last season, Chad Arnold, will take on a guy who would be the ace on just about any other staff in the country, UCLA's Trevor Bauer, in a game at Bailey-Brayton Field that starts at 1 p.m. on Root Sports (formerly FSN Northwest). Hopefully they'll get a good Mom's Weekend crowd at the game.

If there ever was a time for Arnold, who is recovering from an offseason elbow injury, to return to form, this is it: The Cougs really need to win today and tomorrow to get back on the fringes of the postseason conversation.
