HOT COUGAR ACTION: Fall Camp Day 14 Recap

The WSU football team wrapped up their 14th day of fall camp with a morning practice Saturday. Following practice, the football team joined other WSU athletic teams in the Lentil Festival parade.

I never understood the draw of the Lentil Festival, although based on this schedule of events I may be missing out. A "Legendary Lentil Cook-Off" and a performance by the Small Town Boyz?! Next year, consider me there.

Saturday saw the Cougars practice for just under two hours in full pads at Rogers Field...there was a welcomed sight to the start of today's practice as one of the first players out on the practice field this morning was cornerback Nolan Washington who had missed most of the week after tweaking his right hamstring, good to have one of team leaders and most entertaining Cougs back on to the field.
