Hot Cougar Action: Monday Morning Trivia

A few links and the usual Monday morning trivia contest to begin the week.

James Snook-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

During the waning moments of WSU's loss to Oregon, a fan behind me posed a simple question to his two friends. When was the last time WSU had a winning month? Neither friend could answer the question, which made me think it might be a halfway decent trivia question. So thanks guy behind me, I appreciate it.

Q1: When was the last time WSU had a winning month of football (minimum one game played)?

Q2: Teondray Caldwell was very close to a kickoff return touchdown, but came up just short. Who was the last WSU player to score a kick return touchdown?

Late night WSU musings - SportsLink - Spokesman.com - Sept. 30, 2012
Something about driving 4 1/2 hours is good for the brain (my back, however, is a different story). Anyway, the trip home this afternoon gave us plenty of time to think, and with Washington State cancelling its scheduled 8 p.m. practice, we figured it'd be a good time to pass along some notes and thoughts from yesterday's game. Read on.
