Week 7 of the of the college football schedule has a pair of marquee games, and plenty of interesting match-ups spread throughout the day. For Coug fans, Cal and WSU cap the night off on Pac-12 Networks at 7:30 p.m. PT.
The morning starts with the Red River Shootout. No. 15 and No. 13 Texas face off in Dallas in one of the country's best rivalries. The two teams will be battling for the chance to finish second the West Virginia in the Big 12. BOOM.
The day continues at 12:30 p.m. PT with a couple of Pac-12 out-of-conference games. The No. 10 Oregon State Beavers visit the BYU Cougars. The Beavers will be without starting quarterback Sean Mannion for the first time against a tough Brigham Young defense.
At the same time, Stanford visits Notre Dame. The Irish are undefeated and the Cardinal have a chance to spoil Notre Dame's return to prominence.
South Carolina and LSU headline the next block of games at 5 p.m. This will be a battle of excellent teams, and there will probably less that 30 points scored. If that gets boring, feel free to switch to Texas A&M and Louisiana Tech at 6:15. There will be plenty of offense in that one.
ROOT Sports gets the last laugh with New Mexico and Hawaii meeting at 9 p.m. If you are still starved for college football action at that point, at least you'll have something to watch.
