Hot Cougar Action: Monday morning trivia

As always, we kick of the week with a trivia question.

James Snook-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

With WSU on a bye this week, I tried to come up with some sort of interesting bye week stats, but they turned out to be really depressing. So instead of anything related to win/loss records, we wen't a different route today.

Jeff Tuel is currently 92 yards shy of 1,000 passing yards for the season. Connor Halliday has already eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark which brings us to the first question.

Q1: When was the last time WSU had two quarterbacks throw for at least 1,000 yards in a season?

There has been some talk about second half offensive struggles. So with WSU seemingly only performing for a half at times, they should at least set the bar high.

Q2: Since 1983, What is the WSU record for passing yards in a half (first or second)? Bonus points if you can name who holds the record.
