While the WSU men's basketball team was once again overshadowed by some off the field stuff, we have confirmed reports that they did indeed play a game Saturday night.
The Cougars started slow, but defeated off Arkansas-Pine Bluff 66-38, capping an excellent weekend for WSU athletics. The football team got it started by winning the Apple Cup Friday. The women's basketball team knocked off a solid BYU team 67-52 Saturday afternoon before the men's team rolled past Arkansas-Pine Bluff. Despite one idiot fan's actions, it was a solid weekend for the Cougs.
