WSU football coach Mike Leach just finished up what was a long, rambling and apparently somewhat bizarre press conference in which he did address the situation with suspended wide receiver Marquess Wilson. There should be full video at some point, but in the meantime, here are the comments that are directly relevant to Wilson's situation, via Brian Floyd, who was at the conference.
Leach on Wilson: "I do know that he's suspended. If he left the team, that's his decision."

Leach on what he'd do if a player walked out of practice: "I'd cut him"

Leach said Wilson is suspended this week and left it at that

Leach left open the possibility of return, but said that was between he and Wilson

New info here? First, Wilson's out for at least this weekend. Second, there's a possibility for return for Wilson, despite Leach's "I'd cut him" comment. Is this a Sekope Kaufusi-style "open to return"? Who knows.
More as it develops.
