WSU Athletic Communications

Saturday was an up-and-down day for the WSU basketball programs. While the men's team won its third straight -- a 72-60 win against Portland -- the women's team lost its second straight and in blowout fashion.

The WSU women's team dropped to 2-5 on the season with an 82-59 loss to Fresno State. Former Cougar Kiki Moore scored 27 points for Fresno State.
