Despite missing a good portion of the season due to a knee injury, current WSU verbal commit Cody O'Connell was named to the 4A first team by the Associated Press. The ESPN recruiting blog had more on the five players who signed with WSU last week although you have to be an Insider to read it.

It seems everyone compares every WSU receiver to Michael Crabtree, so it makes sense to hear what Mike Leach has to say about Crabtree. Leach talks about how much Crabtree loves football and how hard he worked. He tells a story of a time Crabtree hopped a fence late at night to get into the stadium for some extra practice.
