HOT COUGAR ACTION: Selection Sunday Links

With conference tournaments wrapped or wrapping up around the country, selection Sunday is now upon us. After weeks of debating, resume checking and bracketology, we will finally be able to the answer the question everyone is asking; who will WSU play in the first round of the CBI?

I've also been told the NCAA Tournament field will be announced today, talk about playing second fiddle. I wonder who is more anxious on selection Sunday; bubble teams or the thousands of office printers who know they are going to be violated first thing Monday morning by people printing off their brackets. For all of you thinking, "Mark, what are you crazy? Office printers can't be anxious." Do me a favor, go watch The Brave Little Toaster then get back to me.

Speaking of brackets, it's almost time for the 2012 CougCenter bracket challenge. Now would be a good time to tell you who the reigning champion is, but to be honest, my bracket last season was terrible so I stopped paying attention after the first weekend and the Yahoo! page is no longer available. I'm sure whoever won was very deserving. Unless it was Kyle, in which case F@$% YOU KYLE RANCOURT.

There are a few tournament championship games this afternoon so consider this your open thread to discuss any happenings. We will be back later today with more on WSU's place in the CBI as the information beigns to surface.
