HOT COUGAR ACTION: Cougs Begin CBI Play Tonight

The WSU men's basketball team returns to action tonight in the opening round of the CBI. The Cougars will face the San Francisco Dons at 7:00 p.m.

My knowledge of the Dons basically consists of the fact I know Bill Russell played there. The WSU media notes tell me WSU has played USF once, a 53-45 Cougar victory in 1950. Russell was not on the 1950 USF roster, but a player named Cappy Lavin was. This current San Francisco roster has zero players named Cappy, advantage Cougars.

There is also this video preview from the USF athletic department. It would be nice if the USF coach could have been clearer on whether or not this game is great for them.
