Demarquise "Que" Johnson, widely considered to be the marquee recruit of WSU's 2012 class, is in Orlando playing in today's Senior Showcase. The game is scheduled to tip-off at 10:50 a.m. and can be streamed via this link.
Johnson is one of 10 players on the team USA roster which will take on team Florida. It's an all-star setting, so defense might be optional, but it will still be a chance to see Johnson play live. With the departure of senior guards Marcus Capers and Faisal Aden, some have predicted Johnson could step into a major role as a freshman next season.
This event isn't short on talent with a number of players ranked in the 2012 ESPNU top 100. Among them is Johnson's team USA teammate and Stanford signee Rosco Allen. Allen is described as a good 3-point shooter so at worst, we'll get a first look at a guy who will probably Pangos us in two years.
Streaming and threading some high school all-star basketball. If this isn't what CougCenter is all about, I don't know what is.
