Before I started writing this post, I had to double check the video make sure Lamar Patterson's last-second shot didn't actually go in. It's probably just my selective memory, but I can't remember the last time a WSU opponent missed a shot in that situation. Ty Abbott missed a near half court shot on Taylor Rochestie's senior night, but WSU opponents do not miss open game winners.
The WSU Athletic Department produced a lot of content last night including official stats and game notes. The post game notes include this little tidbit.
Lodwick went 4-for-5 from beyond the 3-point arc and moved into first on the WSU single-season list for 3-point field goal percentage, shooting at a .495 clip (47-for-95).
The athletic department also produced highlights and press conference videos. The highlights include Marcus Capers' block and putback dunk, even though neither play counted in the official stats.
