The Cougs will try to beat a team for the third time in a season as they face Oregon State. WSU last accomplished that feat in 2009, when they took down the Oregon Ducks three times, including a victory in the opening round of the conference tournament.
Washington State has had little trouble shredding through Oregon State's defense, and they've been able to limit the Beavers' shooting in the first two match-ups. Brock Motum averaged 25 points in the two games and had little trouble finding easy looks. Jared Cunningham led all scorers in the second match-up, but received very little help. Motum and Cunningham are still battling it out for the Pac-12 scoring title.
Both the games between these two teams have been defense-optional, so the Pac-12 may have a high-scoring match-up to kick off the event.
This game can be seen live on FSN and its affiliates, or you can find the WSU radio stream at http://mynorthwest.com/streams/streampop_ktth.php.
