HOT COUGAR ACTION: Saturday Scrimmage Recaps

The WSU football team went through another spring football scrimmage Saturday and from all accounts the defense came out on top.

The usual suspects have their usual recaps with Christian Caple, Brian and wsucougars.com all weighing in. As they seemingly have all spring, Eric Oertel and Andrei Lintz were once again highlighted for strong play. If you had to name an offensive and defensive player of spring football, Lintz and Oertel would be among the leading candidates. Impressive performances from two guys who played minimal roles last season and are now adjusting to new positions this spring (Lintz from blocking TE to inside receiver).
